Axiom Diagnostics, Inc. is a new company specializing in liquid reagents for use in testing urine samples to determine possible adulteration. The Test True™ reagents are provided with Calibrators and Controls appropriate to SAMHSA requirements and cutoffs. Spot Tests for use in test tubes are now available for Nitrite, Chromate, Bleach, Peroxidase and Iodine.

    The purpose of the Forensic Toxicologist Certification Board (the Board) is to set guidelines for the professional competence and conduct of practitioners of the science of forensic toxicology. The Board has determined minimum standards for education, training, and experience appropriate for individuals engaged in such practice and has developed a process by which they may be voluntarily evaluated and recognized as Certified Forensic Toxicologists, Certified Forensic Alcohol Toxicologists, or Certified Forensic Drug Testing Toxicologists.

    The requirements in brief are: Education: A minimum of a bachelor's degree in an appropriate science with pertinent foundational course work in basic chemistry and/or acceptable related subjects. Experience: Three years experience in a forensic toxicology laboratory one of which is the year immediately prior to application. Proficiency Test Program: The applicant must demonstrate active participation in proficiency testing in the appropriate area. Knowledge Examination: The applicant must successfully complete a rigorous examination in the chosen area of forensic toxicology.
